Canada Post Strike Updates

Canada Post has halted all shipments due to the strike that was started on September 25th, 2025. Shipments will not be sent through Canada Post at this time, and any packages already sent through Canada Post will be delayed until the strike ends.

What does this mean for my shipment?

This affects shipments sent through Canada Post, any items sent through Canada Post will be held until the strike concludes. We cannot do anything in regards to these shipments.

When will the strike end?

We are unsure, as the last strike lasted a couple of months. To keep up with updates regarding negotiations with the CUPW, refer to the Canada Post labour discussion update page here.

What are the alternatives?

We use a variety of carriers that can be chosen at checkout that are not affected by this strike, such as UPS, Purolator, FedEx, and Canpar. Be aware that it is likely there will be delays with all of these couriers due to the strike and influx of packages to make up for what Canada Post typically covers.
